(One minute I held the key, next the walls were closed to me and I discovered that my castles stand upon pillars of salt, and pillars of sand...Once you know there was never, never an honest word-- but that was when I ruled the world)

This is what I did this summer:

I got dressed everyday. I watered the plants as much as I could stand to. I found new passions, rediscovered old ones, and retired others. I filled up my notebook-- every single page. Wrote my fair share of correspondence and stories. I found my friends, found my allies, and found those I could barely call acquaintances. I rode to Steamboat, but really preferred Breckenridge. I finished my homework-- pretty well, too. I indulged in the finer points of summer-- mainly, lazing around the house with the occasional urge to do something productive. I read with a voracious appetite-- Artemis Fowl (1-6), Midnight is a Place, Cart and Cwidder and Drowned Ammet, The Grapes of Wrath...I contacted Life and told him to ease up a bit-- but if he complied, I haven't noticed yet. I thought a great deal of things, and put a good deal to use, and the rest into file in my head. I came up with a new way to deal with school-- GET YOUR HOMEWORK DONE. Computer time will be cut back severely.

So don't ask me what I did, Mr. or Mrs. Teacher. I told you.

And, instead of eight facts, how about I spread them out, eh? xD
1- When I'm bored, I compose letters to people in my head. Somtimes, they're people I know. Other times, it's someone I don't. Most of the time, though, I write to Life.
